  1. Include notes down to G below middle C on treble clef staff

For violinists' note-reading drills, any notes selected below middle C currently drop onto a bass clef staff. I would like notes down to G below middle C to be able to be placed on treble clef staff with ledger lines.

i’m working on a Scale Degrees drill where you give the responses in solfege — I think that’ll address this pretty well. The drill will establish the key (playing or showing the tonic note or chord of the scale, for example) then play or show a random note — and you’ll select what scale degree it is (solfege syllable, or number).

      • increase the difficulty of the Rhythm Performance

Triplets, swing rhythms, just generally what you actually encounter while reading music, not just the very simple rhythms this exercise gives you.

        • Play notes together in intervals.

My class would love the ability to play the notes together in the ear interval training. We find that having the notes be played together makes it easier to hear what kind of interval it is (Major, Minor, Augmented, Diminished)

          • make a scores page

where I can see all the scores on every assignment (or at least the most recent/highest scores on particular assignments) all on one page so I don't have to keep hitting back and clicking the next assignment to see how I did...Once again, this is fairly easy to program, and would make the user-interface much better IMO.

This is a change I’ve made already in parts of the teacher’s interface; I will be gradually doing the same thing (and similar changes) to both student and teacher portions of the site to reduce the need to click to a new page to get related info like scores. Thanks for the feedback!

            • Make a drill that helps students learn the ENTIRE guitar fretboard.

As you know, the guitar fret drill only really helps students learn the first few frets. It would be nice to have something that helps students learn the entire fretboard.

I’ve talked with a few teachers about this — probably extending the current drill to show 7 frets, and then letting you choose which part of the fretboard to test on (a different set of 7 frets).

              • Make it so I can view scores by class.

It would make it easier to copy score into my gradebook if the score results for a partiuclar assignment could be sorted first by class, and then alphabetically by name within each class.
